Founder

The Global Jurist is a student-led international law journal focused on analyzing global legal systems, international court cases, arbitration disputes, and human rights issues through structured, research-based writing. The platform aims to break down complex international legal and political issues into clear, accessible, and academically grounded analysis using credible sources and legal reasoning. It was founded by Amal Sweimeh, a 14 year old student based in the United Arab Emirates with a strong academic interest in international law, global justice systems, and international relations. She created Global Jurist to develop a structured understanding of how international law applies to real-world conflicts, global disputes, and human rights issues, while also building legal research and analytical writing skills at an early stage. The project is designed to strengthen academic thinking, explore international law through real-world cases, and develop a long-term foundation in global justice and legal analysis.
